Is there really a free tier?

Yes. The Free plan covers the whole day-to-day workflow — custom screening forms, shift scheduling and attendance, skill-based matching, and portable credentials. No credit card, no volunteer cap, no seat cap. The volunteer roster and its CSV export are included too, and are rolling out organization by organization — ask us to switch yours on.

Can I change plans later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice with net-30 terms.

Do background checks cost extra?

Background checks are included in the Pro plan at no additional platform fee. You pay only the provider cost (Checkr or Sterling) per check.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, and never as an upgrade lever. Your volunteer roster exports to CSV on every plan including Free — name, email, phone, status, how they joined, and shifts attended. The roster is rolling out organization by organization, so ask us to enable yours if you do not see it yet; the export is free the moment it is on, and always will be. The one export behind a paid plan is the corporate ESG report, which belongs to a company sponsor account rather than a nonprofit organization — see corporate pricing below.

Are there limits on volunteers, opportunities, or team members?

No. Plans differ by capability, not by headcount — you will never be charged more or cut off because your volunteer list grew during the holidays. What Starter and Pro add is features: reusable shift templates, background checks, and the advanced analytics dashboard.
